Deaf and Hard of Hearing Consumer Advocacy Network (DHHCAN) is hosting a U.S. Presidential Candidates Forum in Fairfax, VA next Tuesday, October 9.
It will be held at the Northern Virginia Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons (NVRC) from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Jonathan Young, a representative from the Obama campaign, has confirmed his attendance. A representative from the Romney campaign has been invited but is not yet confirmed.
Voters residing in the metro DC area who are deaf or hard of hearing, and their families, friends, and co-workers are invited to attend the forum. Admission is FREE. Take advantage of this great opportunity to hear the representatives discuss their candidate’s stand on a number of issues of importance to individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened and deaf-blind.
